Children can begin in our Juniors U/13 programme from age 7. We focus on safe ukemi (breakfalls), coordination, respect, and fun before any competitive elements are introduced.
Not at all. Wear loose, comfortable clothing for your first two sessions. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you through buying a proper gi.
Two sessions per week is a great starting cadence. Most members find rapid progress at 1-2 sessions weekly.
Safety is paramount. Every session begins with thorough warm-ups and ukemi practice. We teach controlled throws and progress technical complexity gradually.
